Indoor Positioning for emergency crews – live at BAPCO

Indoor Positioning for Emergency Crews

Together with our partner Frequentis we showcased at BAPCO in Manchester. BAPCO is a conference for knowledge exchange in the field of public safety communications.
If you follow our facebook updates you might have noticed this screenshot of the app we presented there. and Frequentis designed and created together an iPhone/iPad app that shows the current position of all enabled phones there. The general idea behind this app is to provide Indoor Positioning for emergency crews (think of police- & fire departments, or rescue teams), i.e. with detailed indoor location information on their team members. The app can be used at the operations centre or by the crew members on the go.
We got lots of great feedback and people loved to play around with our app. Check out this screenshot from the iPad app:

It’s exciting for us to implement technology for differents needs, industries and target groups. Busy time ahead! 🙂

Our Indoor Positioning and Navigation solution has been put to the test by First Responders! Head on over to our recent blogpost and watch a video of First Responders using to improve their rescue missions.
