“Önce iğneyi kendine batır, sonra çuvaldızı başkasına.” Literally it translates to “Pinch yourself with a sewing needle before you pinch others with a packing needle” In a deeper meaning; before you force something on other people first try it on yourself to a lesser extend and see if you yourself can cope with it.

Favorite saying in your language and tell everyone what it means.

“Klappe zu, Affe tot.” Direct translation – Close the lid, the monkey is dead. What it actually means is “let’s put an end to this”. The saying itself doesn’t mean anything to me really, it is more the visual.

How did you find out about indoo.rs?

Nikolay: Firstly I heard about indoo.rs on DevFest hackathon in 2013, where two friends of mine implemented a location-aware game. After that another 2 colleagues started working for indoo.rs and recommended it as a very innovative startup company.
Burak: indoo.rs contacted my old company to cooperate in beacon notification technology. Currently the billa Project is done together. Since my Girlfriend started to study in Vienna and I was willing to move along with her, I tried my luck and indoo.rs was happy to have me on board.
Aleksandar: I was planning to work abroad as soon as I finish my studies for quite some time. So near the end of the studies I begun with an online search and Vienna was my top choice. There was a job opening at indoo.rs at that time so I applied and here I am.
Robert: I know a few people that work here and all of them were very happy to recommend indoo.rs as a great place to work.
Max: Florian Freitag recommended me to indoo.rs and vice versa, I still had to go through a vigorous interview process, so maybe he is not as good a friend as I thought 😉
Sam: I found it online but had heard of them before and was a big fan of their projects.
Florian: I was looking for a new challenge after working in Business Development and found this option.
Alberto Warning, not a fun answer here, I did a web search and found the opening, applied, interviewed and got the job.

What is an indoo.rs day like for you?

Nikolay: Each day brings something new – technically or emotionally. Working here is a fun!
Burak: It is a day full of beacons 😀
I really enjoy being able to concentrate on new features with every sprint.
Aleksandar: Working together with awesome people while being fueled by subway sandwiches.
Robert: Working together with awesome people while being fueled by subway sandwiches and caffeinated drinks.
Max: Maps, Maps, Maps and some Club Mate
Sam: I am onsite a lot, fingerprinting. In the office I help Nick with the website where I can. Always great to be part of a team that helps one another out.
Florian: It is a steep learning curve but it is a lot about finding new channels and looking for interesting new customers
Alberto At least one cookie a day, but other than that working in the webteam bringing more functionality to our platform.

Who is the funniest person at indoo.rs?

Nikolay: Everybody is very special, but Matt is definitely a person who may surprise everyday.
Burak: Of course: FADI!
Aleksandar: So far it looks like Fadi won this competition.
Robert: That would obviously be Fadi
Max: I would love to say me but that would not be funny and would eliminate me immediately, no good comedian laughs at their own jokes, right Nick! Therefore I would have to say Fadi.
Sam: This competition looks not so close and I am not going to change that…Fadi
Florian: This is difficult as I have not seen the group outside of the office yet, all seem relaxed and funny but Bernd is making me laugh a lot
Alberto It is Matt or Jasenko both for very different reasons.
